Grace Valley Church is an independent church committed to glorifying God through the exaltation of Jesus Christ, strengthening Christians in their obedience to God, and through evangelizing those who have not submitted to the lordship of Jesus Christ. We are committed to the biblical mandate of exalting the Word of God through careful study and teaching of it. Our services seek to carry out these commitments through dignified worship, public reading of Scripture, deliberate time of corporate prayer, and significant expositional preaching.
"Hope fills the afflicted soul with such inward joy and consolation, that it can laugh while tears are in the eye, sigh and sing all in a breath; it is called 'the rejoicing of hope".
Announcement Regarding COVID-19
*Updated June 27, 2020*
We are no longer required to limit the gathering to fifty people as long as we continue to concern ourselves with the rules of social distancing, of which we are all now familiar. We will continue to keep the rows of
chairs six feet apart, but with the rules, you are allowed to sit together with others that you have included in your social bubble. We believe that now we are able to seat over sixty people per service. Having kept track of the numbers of attendees over the past three Sundays, we can now have everyone attend on a
Sunday and do so in two services. The services will be at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm each Sunday. Having divided the church into four groups previously, we believe that it is simplest to keep the four groups and include groups A and B in one service and groups C and D in the other service. We will rotate the services as
before. In keeping with the government regulations, we will be keeping track of attendees in case someone of our church contracts the virus. In that way, the government can trace and test those that might have come into contact with the individual.
If you are uncomfortable meeting in a public place due to the virus, we will continue to provide the services on YouTube and Facebook until such time as we no longer need to do so. We are seeking to be as safe as the government believes is required and want to assure you of our commitment to staying healthy – although that ultimately depends upon our Lord’s good will.
For this Sunday - June 28th - groups A/B will attend the 10am service and groups C/D will attend the 1pm service. Each week, this order will reverse.
